Soccer XS, the professional coaching organization focused on the development of youth soccer in the USA, and Umbro, the international sportswear and team wear brand, have announced a new partnership.
According to the terms of the agreement, the partnership which will see Umbro become the official uniform, program gear and fan gear supplier to Soccer XS, will officially begin February 2019. All on-field and off-field player and coach apparel, accessories and equipment will be exclusively Umbro. The historic apparel company will set Soccer XS coaches and players apart on the fields, while also supporting grassroots programs and services.
Soccer XS CEO, Rob Lamb said of the partnership:
I am delighted for Soccer XS to partner with such an iconic brand in world soccer. England won the World Cup in 1966 and Manchester United won the treble in 1999 both wearing Umbro. With my family roots being from the heart of Manchester (UK), there's a sense of nostalgia surrounding my relationship to the Manchester born brand. Umbro's quality uniforms and equipment will help us differentiate our brand and define how our coaches and players look and feel on the field.
Senior Director of Sales at Umbro USA, Pete Sparaco said of the partnership:
We are thrilled to partner with Soccer XS by outfitting their coaches, players and members. We hope our partnership further provides the platform for the continued growth and success of youth soccer in an authentic and engaging way here in the US.
