Summer Select is a 6-week evening training program, designed to provide supplemental individual / team training and game play opportunities to aid in each players individual development between seasons and over the summer months.
Flexible attendance is allowed due to summer family travel/vacation schedules and optional tournaments will be offered depending on interest and ability levels of the teams.

PRICING
$325 Per Player
ELIGIBILITY
Serious players looking to improve their skills and commit to training over the Summer months. Ages 6-15, birth years 2018-2010
LOCATIONS
Summer Select will be offered at various 'Club Partner' locations (see registration options- more locations to be added shortly).
TOURNAMENTS
Based on parent/player interest, we will aim to attend at least 1 summer tournament. Additional fee's will apply.
PROGRAM INCLUDES
- FULL Soccer XS Summer Select Uniform (Shirt, Shorts & Socks)
- 6 Weeks of Technical Training (flexible attendance is allowed due to Summer family travel schedules)
- Training is 2x a Week for 1 hour each session
- Small and Large-Sided Games included
- US Soccer Licensed Professional Coaching Staff
- 1000's of Touches on the Ball Between Seasons
- Includes Speed, Agility and Fitness Training
- Optional Enrollment in Summer Tournaments (Additional Tournament Fee’s Apply)

Summer Select Tournaments & Events
5v5 Soccer Tournament
Saturday 26th July, Vale Sports Club at The Forge, Middletown, CT
Based on parent/player interest and ability level, we will register teams for the 5v5 Soccer Tournament in Middletown, CT.
Gia's Memorial Classic Tournament
August 1st-3rd, 2025, CCR COMPLEX – 395 Country Club Road, Middletown, CT
Based on parent/player interest and ability level, we will register teams for Gia's Memorial Classic Tournament in Middletown.
SOCCER XS NIGHT AT HARTFORD ATHLETIC
August 23rd
Every year we invite our Summer Select and Summer Camp players to the end of Summer Soccer XS Night at a Hartford Athletic game.
Soccer XS families will receive:
- Discounted group tickets
- Pre-match tailgate with food and prizes
- Watch the warm-up pitch-side
- Get to play of the field at half time
- Group picture on the field at the end of the game
ABOUT SUMMER SELECT
OVERVIEW
Training is held twice a week, with skill specific small-sided games included in each practice. Progression to larger-sided games with more tactical coaching will be included.
Players will be coached in age and ability appropriate groups, separated male and female. Our professional coaches will aid the development of all players regardless of your level, using their experience to adjust to the training needs of the individual and the group. The curriculum has been built on a proven and successful individual player development process and tournaments are used as a fun reward for players instead of the traditional emphasis on wins and losses.
COACHING STAFF
The program will be delivered by US licensed and qualified Soccer XS coaching staff, who have extensive experience in professional coaching and support at our local Club Partner programs.
With some of the best coaching staff in the State, this program is an ideal option for those players looking to stay engaged in soccer over the summer months, keep up their touch and fitness, as well as prepare for the Fall or High School soccer season. Soccer XS has built a reputation for providing a holistic family soccer experience, focused on high level training, fun and enjoyment of the game, all delivered in a dynamic and safe environment.
